Adult Learning Grant

Welcome to the Adult Learning Grant (ALG) website. These pages are designed to provide you with information to promote and administer ALG.

The Adult Learning Grant provides income assessed support of up to £30 per week during term time for adults who are studying full time for their first full Level 2 or first full Level 3 qualification. Since 2003 we have financially supported around 43,000 learners

Approved Providers

If you would like to be added as an approved provider for ALG please contact your ALG co-ordinator at the LSC for your area. They will review whether you meet the criteria to administer the scheme and confirm this to The Learner Support Directorate if you do.
